Plain Graham – after being colored with the spray food coloring. You can imagine variations on this theme where you put down traces (pretzel sticks?) before spraying the green stuff, to mask true printed layers on the board.
Part of the circuitry snacks project: Edible models of functioning electronic circuits. Designed for fun, for geeks, for kids, and for teaching and learning electronics.
Surge suppression outlets protect electronics and are better than electrical power strips. It’s an easy do-it-yourself installation with surge protection built right into the wall. Electronics City

Electronics City is an electronics industrial park spread over 332 acres (1.3 km²) in Konappana Agrahara and Doddathogur villages, just outside Bangalore, India. It houses more than a hundred industries, including IT industry leaders such as Wipro,Hewlett-Packard, Motorola, Infosys, Siemens, ITI,Satyam etc. The area is maintained by Keonics, which provides all the necessary infrastructure.
The Electronics City was the brainchild of R.K. Baliga, the first Chairman and Managing Director of Keonics, Karnataka Electronics. He dreamt of making Bangalore the Silicon Valley of India when he developed the concept of Electronic City. He did not live to see his dream materialize (he died in 1988). The liberalisation of the Indian economy in the early 1990′s by the then Indian Prime Minister P.V. Narasimha Rao and then Indian Finance Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh helped Electronic City to become what it is today—the outsourcing capital of the world.
With the development of Electronics City Phase 2, many more companies have set up shop here and this has led to enormous strain on the connecting roads from Bangalore. In November 2004 the government decided to construct a 9 kilometer long elevated road to enable smoother traffic flow. Work has already started and is now expected to be complete by the January of 2009.
Electronics City also is the home of the International Institute of Information Technology – Bangalore which is one of the premier graduate schools in India, focussing on all aspects of Information Technology..

DAMN……… I’M GOIN ANYWHERE BUT CALIFORNIA!

THIS IS JUST ONE OF THE REASONS CALIFORNIA IS VERY SOON GONNA BE ASKING THE FEDS FOR A MASSIVE STATE BAILOUT……….. (TELL YOUR REPS TO VOTE NO)
EVERYBODY OUT HERE IN MEXIFORNIA SHOULD READ THIS ……THEY WON’T OF COURSE….. BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO WATCH ORCHA ON THE TELEVISION GIVING AWAY FREE SHIT AND THEY HAVE TO GO TO WALMART AND PICK UP SOME MORE CHEAP CHINESE CRAP AND SOME WON-TON SOUP WITH TOFU MEAT FILLING TO STUFF IN THEIR PIE HOLES TONIGHT USING THEIR WELFARE DEBIT CARDS
===============================================================================
HERE’S A HOT FLASH FOR YOU NIMRODS OUT HERE
BUSINESS IS FLEEING CALIFORNIA IN DROVES
So far this year, 69 companies have moved all or part of their California work and jobs to other states or countries, reports Irvine relocation consultant Joe Vranich.
It’s the fastest rate of departures since Vranich started tracking the exodus in 2009, he says. There have been an average of 4.7 moves per week from Jan. 1 through April 12, compared to 3.9 moves in all of 2010.
The numbers are low, Vranich says, estimating that only one in five out-of-state moves is made public.
In what he calls "disinvestment events," Vranich counts companies that move jobs, facilities or headquarters out of California. He doesn’t count companies that invest outside the state for growth or marketing reasons.
Among the 69 are some big names: CKE Restaurants, which started in Orange County and now is based in Carpinteria; Dunn-Edwards paints in Vernon; and eBay Inc. in San Jose which will add 1,000 high-paying jobs in Austin, Tex. after receiving government incentives to locate there.
Eleven Orange County companies are on this latest list:
Acacia Research Corp in Irvine moved its core business to Frisco, Tex.
AccentCare in Irvine moved its headquarters to Dallas
Alstyle Apparel Inc. in Anaheim closed its local manufacturing plants and moved the work to Agua Prieta, Mexico
Biocentric Energy Holdings Inc. in Santa Ana moved its corporate facility and testing center to Salt Lake City
The new owner of Claim Jumper and Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. restaurants moved the headquarters for both chains to Houston
Dharma Construction Services in Costa Mesa is moving its headquarters to Louisville, Ky.
Hyundai Capital America in Irvine is tranferring 71 jobs to Georgia and Texas
Legacy Electronics is moving from San Clemente to Sioux Falls, S.D.
Rockwell Collins in Irvine is transferring its electromechanical systems work to Mexico and Florida
Tickets.com in Costa Mesa closed its Concord office and is moving the call center and customer service work to Texas
Wells Fargo Bank is moving 59 jobs from Orange County to India.
Why do these and the other companies move out of California? Vranich has updated his top 10 reasons that California companies call the moving van.
Number 10 is new: Energy costs soaring because of new laws and regulations. Commercial electrical rates are already 50% higher than the rest of the country, Vranich says, and Gov. Jerry Brown just signed a new law increasing the amount of power utilities must buy from renewable sources plus regulations for the California Global Warming Solutions Act will start soon.
The other reasons, Vranich says, are:
9. High and unfair tax treatment
8. Regulatory burden
7. Unfriendly legal environment for business
6. Most expensive place to do business
5. Provable savings elsewhere
4. Public policies and taxes create unfriendly business climate
3. Uncontrollable public spending
2. More adversarial toward business than any other state
1. Poor rankings for California on lists ranging from taxes to crime rates to school dropout rates.
"There is little evidence that California’s business environment will improve considering that the legislature in 2011 has voted down litigation reform, tax-increase plans are underway, and a host of new regulations are to be implemented that will increase costs for literally every business," Vranich says.
CLICK HERE…. thebusinessrelocationcoach.blogspot.com/2011/04/calif-dis… to read about the 69 company moves on Vranich’s new list.
SO YOU SEE SOON NOBODY IN CALIFORNIA WILL HAVE TO TAKE THAT PESKY LEETLE TRIP DOWN TO THE UNEMPLOYMENT OFFICE ………THEY WON’T HAVE ANY LISTINGS
THERE WON’T BE ANY BUSINESSES IN CALIFORNIA
THEN YOU CAN ALL JUST SIT BACK AND COLLECT THE CHECK FROM THE STATE
UNTIL …………WELL OF COURSE UNTIL THE STATES BROKE……..BUT NEVER MIND ……………ORCHA’S ON ……….AND SHE’S GIVING AWAY NEW CARS TODAY ……………..SO WE’LL FIX THAT LATER …………………………………SO IT GOES IN MEXIFORNIA…. THE LAND OF LIBERAL LEADERSHIP AT IT’S FINEST, FOR THE LAST 40 YEARS

There’s a Chinese saying that basically translates to "Shit doesn’t happen by itself – it comes in droves". Or, as we say in Cantonese, "the poorer you are, the more likely for misfortunes".
My night was going pretty darn decent until I finished organizing my printer / battery charger section of my office. I plugged the UPS back in after rerouting the wires, only to hear a loud buzzing sound and watch the lights flickr on the server rack.
Next thing I knew, smoke started pouring from the bottom of my server rack. I’ve been in engineering long enough to pull the power cable when I smell that smell of burnt electronics.
Of course, this is THE UPS that runs the entire comm. infrastructure in my shop. My cable modem, the gigabit switch that handles all the traffic among all the servers, the VOIP gateway for telephones and fax, the remote automations controller and the 3D Printer driver all runs off this machine (I calculated the load to be about 70% of what this unit can handle, in case anyone wonders). And, poof, just like that, my entire business got knocked offline.
I ripped the thing apart (after ripping my server rack apart to get to this) and found that a 4c capacitor had literally exploded, destroying a roughly 0 UPS that was protecting well over 00 worth of equipment. ARGH!
Time to hit up Costco and see what a replacement cost. Because of the weight of the batteries, shipping this in is out of the question, and Fry’s is typically bloody highway robbery when it comes to these things.
I didn’t care if gas was .00 a gallon – I went out for a nice long drive afterwards tonight.
I’m just glad it didn’t start an electrical fire. And on the plus side, I now have 4 perfectly good SLA batteries for portable power packs for Allen’s ringlight.

Green technology and energy efficient gadgets and toys were a big hit at the Consumer Electronics Show. Everyone is concerned with conserving energy, incorporating “green” aspects to their products and pulling in customers with the latest energy saving products. With green products ranging from solar charging backpacks, home electronics and TVs to a highway-safe electric motorcycle, there was something green for everyone was the Consumer Electronics Show.

I just purchased this AC unit (Summer 2011) only planning to use it when it gets above 90* outside. Ive wanted one for years, but the price on Portable AC units was through the roof. This one is fairly priced. At 9 at the time I purchased this 4/1/11, It looked like they were selling fast, I decided to pick one up before they were gone. Nice small unit, Looks good, not too loud, Seems like its quality made by LG.
